MADAR only processes the information needed to provide prayer times, Dynamic Island reminders, prayer alarms, calendar queries, Qibla direction, and account services. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
2. Information We Process
When you use this app, we may process:
- Account information when you sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub, used to identify your account and sync settings and subscription status
- Prayer settings you choose, such as location, personal minute adjustments, lead minutes, and other preferences you save
- Location used to calculate prayer times, and — after you grant permission — to confirm Qibla on device; compass heading is processed locally
- System identifiers needed for reminders, such as push or Live Activity tokens, so the next-prayer countdown can reach your device
- Support emails you send us, used only to reply
3. Permissions & Local Processing
With your authorization, this app may use notifications, Live Activities / Dynamic Island, alarms, location, and compass.
These permissions are used only to deliver the corresponding features on your device. Compass readings for Qibla are processed locally in principle; the place you select is used to query prayer times from the server.
4. Data We Do Not Collect
This app does not collect the following for advertising or tracking:
- Contacts, photo library, videos, or microphone recordings
- Government-issued ID information
- Health data or communication content
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
5. Third Parties & Platforms
Sign-in is processed by Apple, Google, or GitHub under their own terms. Payments and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not store your bank card or payment account details.
Except as needed to complete sign-in, subscription, prayer-time calculation, and reminder delivery, we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
6. When You Contact Us
If you email us, the name, address, or description you provide will only be used to respond to your inquiry.
We will not use that information for other purposes except as needed to complete the reply.
7. Children's Privacy
This app is not designed to collect personal information from children.
If a guardian believes a child has provided personal information without consent, please contact us using the details below.
8. Policy Updates
If this policy changes in a material way, we will publish a new version in the app, on this website, or in release notes.
